01 / Me. I Am ... Eric Paquette

About Me

01 Intro

Eric's Tufts University Headshot

Who Am I?

I created this website for two main reasons: (1) to get back into website design, something I did years ago before college that I really enjoyed; and (2) to reflect on some of my favorite things in life.

For the longest time, when people asked me what my favorite song, television show, etc. was, I had a difficult time responding. After 22 years, I couldn't decide which things I liked the best ... I simply liked too many things.

This website acts as a living encyclopedia, updating over the years as I grow and as my interests evolve to catalog the things that make me happy. It's a little window into what makes me who I am: me.

Me. I Am ... Eric Paquette

02 Career Goals

As a licensed Engineer-in-Training, I currently work full-time as a traffic engineer at a civil engineering firm in Lawrence, Massachusetts and am enrolled in the Masters of Science in Engineering Management program at Tufts University. Previously, I served as a design engineer at a land development firm in Germantown, Maryland, where I performed key design elements for sediment erosion control, stormwater management, and storm drains.

For my next position, I am seeking an opportunity in the operations management and supply chain management fields. I specialize in optimizing processes and improving overall efficiency and would like to utilize these skills in a network logistics capacity: planning new airline routes, reducing shipping distribution time, minimizing traffic congestion, developing new transit schedules, etc.

I am an incredibly motivated, ambitious, determined individual who continuously strives to excel and exceed expectations. Before retirement, I see myself serving as the COO of a large transportation and logistics focused company.

03 Interests

Eric & Chico

I'm a huge fan of amusement parks; I used to be terrified of roller coasters when I was younger, but after riding Great Bear at Hersheypark, I've come to love roller coasters, particularly B&M Inverted Coasters.

Disney has been a love of mine since I was a baby ... everything from the characters and theme parks to the TV shows and movies. Dumbo and Figment are my favorites.

Whether it be riding, grooming, or walking, being around horses puts a smile on my face, especially after seeing the joy they bring to patients in therapeutic programs.

While by no means a professional, I really enjoy photography and do very well taking scenery shots (man-made and nature).

I've been to a lot of concerts over the years: Enrique Iglesias (3x), Shakira (2x), Kelly Clarkson (2x), Beyonce (2x), Jennifer Lopez, Celine Dion, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Ke$ha, Pitbull, Marina and the Diamonds, Jay-Z, The Fray, Flo Rida, Austin Mahone, Cher Lloyd, Ed Sheeran, Psy ...
